Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. 鈥 草莓视频鈥檚 campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Tentative agreement reached with faculty at 草莓视频

草莓视频 has reached a tentative agreement with the 草莓视频 Faculty Association.

The agreement is under the Province鈥檚 and covers approximately 800 faculty members at the college. The CCFA is a member local of the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC (FPSE) which is an advocacy organization that supports faculty associations in the post-secondary sector.

Details about the agreement will be available after the ratification process is complete.

Negotiations under the Shared Recovery Mandate support the provincial government鈥檚 priorities to improve public services and the health-care system, while supporting the Province鈥檚 continued economic recovery.

As of Aug. 25, nearly 389,000 people are covered by tentative and ratified agreements settled under the Shared Recovery Mandate, which is about 96 per cent of unionized employees in the provincial public sector. This includes fully ratified collective agreements with BCGEU Local 701 instructors and CUPE Local 2081 support staff at 草莓视频.
