This award is for one or more students attending the BSN program at ݮƵ who demonstrate outstanding achievement by the end of Year 2 and have a focus on surgery as a specialty. The award recipient(s) will possess the full range of personal skills and attributes found among the very best of nurses. Like Rachel, the award recipient(s) will be a ray of sunshine in a patient's life..

Nominations by faculty open in October (annually)

Criteria

The Student must:

  • be enrolled in the Nursing, Baccalaureate of ScienceDzduring the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
